William Adams is part of Caterpillar’s worldwide dealer network, providing large-scale machinery for construction, mining and agriculture in the states of Victoria and Tasmania.

William Adams found that printing their invoices on pre-printed stationery using Dot Matrix printers was not cost-effective, nor did it project a positive image of their company.

Midrange Pacific provided a solution based on the EZPrint/400 product. This solution was best suited to the application, as its cost was not dependant upon the number of printers on which the output was to be printed. William Adams was then able to transfer its forms to EZPrint/400 with virtually no changes to their print procedures. Midrange Pacific implemented a turnkey solution that William Adams was able to download to its system directly, via FTP.

The Benefits of this solution:

·         Seamless transition to duplex-enabled laser printers; references to the other side of forms retained relevance.

·         Forms more presentable and readable.

·         Software had the ability to distinguish between Estimate forms and other forms (which have the same spool file attributes), on the basis of a keyword in the file.

“The ability on the part of staff at Midrange Pacific to attend our calls, identify the issues and implement solutions within EZPrint quickly and effectively demonstrates not only the strengths of the product, but also the depth of this supplier’s knowledge and experience in the field.”
