Melcann Ltd. is a distributor of cement and a manufacturer and distributor of cement- based products. It also distributes a wide range of horticultural and pipe products to compliment their core lines.

 

Melcann had head offices in Melbourne, with branches and depots around Australia. There were approximately 9600 DDS lines running between these branches; these were proving to be very expensive and inefficient.

 

Midrange Pacific provided a total communications solution, establishing SonicWALL firewalls with VPN's in major branches (the Head Office serving as the VPN gateway), and Remote VPN clients in smaller branches. This allowed all users to easily access the VPN gateway via Telstra Internet connections.
